Richard D. Glaser is Executive Vice President and COO of Benchmark Communications, Inc., a transformational, consulting and coaching firm that works within the C Suite of Fortune 500 companies -- helping align their leadership, brand and culture to increase profitability.

Glaser is one of the Founding Members of the Creating WE Institute which now consists of over 40 critical thinkers working in the area of neurochemistry and how that knowledge can be used by executives to increase performance and profitability.

Under the auspices of Benchmark, Glaser serves as CEO and President of Biomega Laboratories, Inc. a NYU Langone Medical Center-based company, focusing on the development and commercialization of novel peptides for the treatment of diseases characterized by abnormal cell growth such as cancers and certain ophthalmic and dermatologic disorders.

Additionally, Glaser presently serves as consultant to CoGyn Pharmaceuticals, a Beijing-based company focused on the feminine hygiene market in China.

In the past, Glaser served on the Board and as the COO of two NASDQ companies, MacroChem, Inc., and Exovir, Inc., both in the pharmaceutical arena.  Prior to that he was a Vice President of Biomedical Development and General Manager, Molecular Separations, Inc. in the AMF Specialty Materials Division, AMF, Inc. and Senior Associate Director, Scientific Affairs at Pfizer, Inc. where he was responsible for the clinical development of Nifedipine and other pharmaceuticals.

In the past Glaser has served as an consultant to T3, Inc. a medical imaging company; founded Octave Marketing, Inc., an importer of British men’s toiletries; was a partner in Gattopardo, Inc., the owner of the NYC restaurant, Biblioteca; one of the three co-founders of CHiP, Inc., a Louisiana-based coupon company servicing the package goods industry: and represented BioKill, a Swiss insecticide company, in the U.S. marketplace.
